Starting the story from a distance, we can see how the digital world of our time has given the editing of its own profile to each and every one of us. The potential to meet individual needs opened up new horizons in the 21st century, which, in turn, quickly emerged from cyberspace, and thanks to this, there is hardly any area of life today where anyone could not
use this option.
Personalization during trips can provide not only special perspectives, but also the best possible value for money. The independent travel advisory service today provides this personalization. Activity – mostly on the western side of the world – is already a much used method, but in Hungary it is even less known and widespread. It is not surprising that many people confuse it with travel.
I came close to a Mekong boat trip with my travel advice, I developed this form and I
“naturalized” it, adapted it to the domestic and American needs. The basic thing that needs to be clarified is what is the difference between tour management and independent travel advice.
If a person travels individually, but in a social way, through an office, he can only move within a certain framework, since he becomes a participant in a system, which narrows his possibilities and makes him adapt. Anyone who chooses this form of travel undertakes to enter a scheme that includes the program, the accommodation, the way of travel, to mention only the most important items. By paying the travel fee, you not only accept the fixed conditions of the tour operator, but also pay its organizational, organizational and administrative costs and, of course, the office’s labor fee.
In contrast, an independent travel consultant operates on both an emotional and rational basis. This means that all the elements of the trip are adapted to the personal needs of the traveler and provide the best value for money.
As an independent travel consultant, I work for my clients and their individual needs. The one-time advisory fee covers my professional services, while all travel-related costs are paid directly to the respective service providers.
How independent travel advice works.
Of those who come to me, half of them typically have one, and the other has no idea where they want to go.
If someone already has a destination or desire, we go through the possibilities and sights of the given country or region and match it with the availability
ofvalue for money, and finally, knowing this, you can make a decision or choose a new destination.
If you don’t have an idea, the first meeting with them always begins with a big conversation. In addition to mutual acquaintance, this outlines the desires, needs and opportunities, which of course also includes the budget allocated for the trip. By the end of such a conversation – as I used to say – the countries “fall off” the globe nicely, at the end of which, in the vast majority of cases, the places that could be considered are born.
After choosing the final destination, you can start planning the project, which is done with the same thoroughness as if I were doing it myself.
I have gained a lot of personal experience over the past few decades. Out of the 140 countries, I have visited more than five times in at least 80, in the most important countries of Asia and America at least a dozen times, in my favorites more than 20 times, so I can make suggestions, for example, about the way of travel, its logistical planning, the variety of attractions and experiences, the best gastronomic places, shopping, and choosing the best value for money.
A good price-value ratio is not equal to the price of the cheapest airfare, as the airlines also operate at different standards, moreover, the given flight may not be adapted to the rhythm of the journey, and for the low price, say, someone has to calculate a twelve-hour wait.
The same approach applies when choosing accommodation. As an independent consultant, my recommendations are based solely on my personal experience, the client’s individual needs and the best possible value for money. I have visited numerous hotels and hotel groups, so I can always recommend quality accommodation based on my experience, which will be able to fully satisfy the needs of the client.
When the basic framework of the trip has been established, the fine-tuning follows, in which each person can decide whether to use the help of a local travel agency
or a tour guide in the given region, who can help with the programs, arrange the purchase of entrance tickets,
and even be with the passenger continuously.

from obtaining an online visa to the registration of health care to the rental of a car.

Remuneration
It may not be necessary to have a travel consultant for the implementation of every project, since with a lot of time and careful accuracy, anyone can organize their own travel, but even with a lack of experience and local knowledge, it is not certain that they can avoid all the pitfalls, not to mention the good value for money.
Although the consultant fee is added additively to the price of the entire trip, the facts and figures show that the benefits that come with it mean at least thirty percent cost reduction in the total amount and a lot of savings of up to several days of work hours. This is also the case if you plan your trip yourself.
How good and effective the model is proves nothing better than the fact that I have many partners and clients who have used my travel advice more than once and are constantly recommending it to others.
